GTTI MMSP 2025

The GTTI-SPS Thematic Meeting on Multimedia Signal Processing (GTTI MMSP) gathers researchers and professionals focused on multimedia signal processing and its applications. It provides a venue for people to interact and exchange ideas about state-of-the-art scientific achievements, as well as to promote initiatives and encourage the development of the signal processing community.

The 2025 edition will be held in Valfurva (SO) on January 20 and 21. This year, the event is organized by Politecnico di Milano and Università di Brescia. Following the Welcome Dinner on Sunday, January 19, the meeting will span two days (Monday and Tuesday) with a program focusing on the outcomes in our field stemming from university-industry collaborations. The event will feature a keynote speech by Morteza Mardani, Lead Scientist at NVIDIA, oral sessions, posters, demo presentations (including a Best Demo Award sponsored by GTTI).

GTTI MMSP is supported by the IEEE Signal Processing Society – Italian Chapter and by the National Telecommunications and Information Technologies Group (GTTI).

2024 IEEE-EURASIP Summer School on Signal Processing (S3P-2024)

The 2024 IEEE-EURASIP Summer School on Signal Processing (S3P-2024) is the 10th edition of a successful series, organized by the Italian Telecommunications and Information Technologies Group – GTTI with the support of the IEEE Signal Processing Society and EURASIP. S3P-2024 represents a stimulating environment where top researchers in signal processing and related disciplines share their ideas on fundamental and ground-breaking methodologies in the field. It provides PhD students and researchers with a unique opportunity to interact with leading scientists and network with peer students.

This edition will take place on the island of Capri (Italy) in the gulf of Napoli from 23 to 27 September 2024.

Speakers come from both academia and industry, from the United States and Europe, and cover a wide range of research fields, from signal and image processing to machine learning, computer vision and computer graphics:

  • Nicholas Carlini (Google DeepMind, USA)
  • Angela Dai (Technical University of Munich, Germany)
  • Alexei (Alyosha) Efros (University of California, Berkeley, USA)
  • Irfan Essa (Georgia Institute of Technology and Google, USA)
  • Marco Gori (University of Siena, Italy)
  • Tal Hassner (Meta, USA)
  • Koki Nagano (NVIDIA Research, USA)
  • Matthias Nießner (Technical University of Munich, Germany)
  • Stefano Soatto (University of California Los Angeles, USA)
  • Tuomas Virtanen (University of Tampere, Finland)

A recurring theme of their talks will be “Understanding and modeling the world around us”.

The S3P-2024 is organized with the support of the University Federico II of Naples.
